Michael Ross Montgomery

Michael Ross Montgomery, age 40, passed away Thursday, Sept, 20, 2012, in Starkville. He grew up in Long Beach. He was a landscape designer with Mississippi Gardens and attended Broadmoor Baptist Church, Adaton Baptist Church and New Covenant Church. Michael Ross Montgomery was a graduate of Mississippi State University, with two bachelor degrees; one in Landscape Architecture and the other in Landscape Construction and Management.
He is survived by his wife, Haley Montgomery; daughter, Maggie Montgomery; sons: Travis and Elisha Montgomery, all of Starkville; and a sister, Peggy Gordon of Birmingham, Ala.
Visitation for Mr. Montgomery is Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, from noon - 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jerry Linhares will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery.
