MHP pushes safe driving campaign

As time invariably pushes forward – dragging along technological progression and new cultural trends behind it – the possibilities for distractions while driving become more pronounced.
In response, the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) is pushing forward with its “Pay Attention or Pay a Fine” campaign, which aims to curb the number of auto accidents which so often plague the highways.
The program is a state-funded operation, which grants it a vast amount of latitude from the red tape that so often presents itself to organizations, businesses and the likes that would otherwise operate through federal grants.
