Mary Thornton Webber, age 94, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at her son’s home in West Point.
Mary Agnes Webber was born May 11, 1917, in the Cairo Community to the late Elizabeth Lloyd and Robert L. Thornton. Mrs. Webber was a homemaker and a member of Palestine United Methodist Church. She married Emmett Benjamin Webber, July 30, 1941, in Houston. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1997.
Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Eddie Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo Cemetery in the Cairo community of Clay County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Gibson (Ray) of Dothan, Ala.; one son, Larry Webber of West Point; two grandchildren: Gregory Gibson and Amanda Gibson; and one great-granddaughter, Abagail.
Pallbearers are Ronald Cliett, Billy Gipson, Steve White, Tim Ray, Gary Brock, and Bryant Watkins.
Honorary pallbearers are Nurses and Aids of the NMMC Hospice.

Visitation is Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, from 5 -7 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
