Marcus R. Sims, age 60, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East, in Memphis, Tenn.
Marcus Randolph Sims was born October 18, 1952, in Bay Springs, to the late Kathryn McMullen and Quitman Reid Sims. Marcus worked with C. C. Clark Land and Wildlife as a manager since 2007. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Marcus R. Sims married Donna Leah DeLoach November 19, 1972, at Siloam.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Alto Cemetery.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Donna DeLoach Sims of West Point, his precious children, Benjamin R. Sims (Heather) of West Point, Bethany Sims and Kristen White (Clay) all of Hernando, his adored five grandchildren, Zachary R. Wikel, Logan R. Sims, Marcus Garrett Wikel, Kendall White, and Caleb White one sister, Rosemary Sharp (Don), of Bay Springs.
Pallbearers are Trey DeLoach, Scott DeLoach, Rob DeLoach, Ian Sharp, John Elliott, and Richard Ellis.
