Man arrested in cocaine case

Antonio Brownlee, 29, of Mantee, was arrested Friday by the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department under suspicion of the sale of cocaine.
Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said Brownlee, who was wanted by the Clay County Sheriff's Department since June 5, was apprehended at a residence in Calhoun County before being returned to Clay County Detention Center.
Scott said Brownlee will be arraigned Tuesday morning. He remained in custody at CCDC Monday on a Mississippi Department of Corrections hold.
Scott said a Crime Stoppers tip lead to Brownlee's arrest. He said Crime Stoppers continues to be a convenient tool in making arrests.
