West Point will host its second Makin' Hay festival from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at Sally Kate Winters Park in downtown.
Coordinator Lisa Klutts said Makin' Hay was a festival in name only, and was meant to serve as the farmer's market for the fall season. She said there would be $5 games, fall produce, merchandise and a hayride through the downtown area.
"Most of the vendors from the summer farmer's market are coming back, and they'll have a variety of fall vegetables," Klutts said. "Eric Lancaster, who does Pumpkinpalooza in Starkville, will also be on hand, so we'll have plenty of pumpkins."
She said those who purchased tickets and played games could win credits toward various discounts on pumpkins.
