Lucille Fields Klutts, age 97, passed away, Monday, April 16, 2012, at West Point Community Living Center, in West Point.
Mamie Lucille Klutts was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Millport, Ala., to the late Lee Smith Fields and James Shannon Fields. She was a machine operator at Knickerbocker, MFG for 20 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mamie Lucille Fields Klutts married Marshall Roland Klutts Jan. 9, 1935, in Columbus, he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1999.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Roland Klutts (Anita) of West Point; four grandchildren: Brent Klutts, Jeremy Klutts, Justin Klutts, and Mollie Klutts Harpole; and nine great-grandchildren. Her grandson, Brad Klutts, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Klutts, Justin Klutts, Marion Johnson, Steve White, Justin Harpole, and Bobby Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers are Ken Harrelson, Dr. John Cox, Dr. J. R. Powell and her friends at Trinity Baptist Church.
Visitation is today, 1:30 - 3 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
