Lorene Madison Miller

Lorene Madison Miller, age 91, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at the Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Clinton, Miss.
Lorene Madison Miller was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Clay County, Miss., to the late Roxie Young and Edward Henry Madison. Mrs. Miller worked with the A.S.C.S. Home Farm Administration and Miller Brothers Dairy as a secretary, then later at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home of Aberdeen. Lorene was a member of First Baptist Church in West Point, Miss., and a former member in Aberdeen, Miss. Mrs. Miller was married to Robert Guy Miller Nov. 18, 1951, in West Point, Miss., he predeceased her Nov. 8, 1958. One sister, Mary Brock, and six brothers: Robert Madison, Calvin Madison, Jack Madison, Mixon Millsaps, Louis Millsaps, and David Millsaps, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery of West Point, Miss. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters: Joyce Robertson (Boyd) of Brandon, Miss., Jane Allison (David) of Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren: Claire Allison and Mary Grace Allison; and one sister, Ruth Alice Moore of Montpelier, Miss.
Pallbearers are Gary Brock, Andy Moore, Carl Miller, Terry Chrismond, Charlie Newell, Buck Madison, Jimmy Madison, and Keith Thompson.

Visitation is 12:30 until 2 p.m. service at Calvert Funeral Home.
