Lasky, Kidder engagement celebrated

The engagement of Celia Lasky to Brad Kidder was celebrated with a Mexican Fiesta at the home of Joe and Kristen Stevens August 27. Guests enjoyed lived music under the arbor, authentic Mexican food and Mexican ice cream for dessert. Lasky is the daughter of Mrs. Josh Stevens of West Point and Mr. Paul Lasky of Columbus. Kidder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Kidder of Columbus. Special guests included the couple's grandmothers, Mrs. Frances Dulin of Jackson and Mrs. Martha Kidder of Columbus. Hosting the event were Donna and Hal Barkley, Betsy and Bubba Barham, Kathy Claxton and Tom Davis, Tammy Davis, Jean and Jerry Enis, Joan and Walter Lann, Gayle and Stanley Scott, Kristen and Joe Stevens, Cheryl Sundbeck, and Terri and Greg Tinsley.
