Lady Raiders split four games in Starkville tournament

Oak Hill 11-0 Central Academy

Maime Allen (4-2) threw a no-hitter and struck out eight in the opener Saturday morning. Nine Lady Raiders finished with a hit in the game.

Oak Hill 3-1 East Rankin

OH used the small ball tactic effectively in the win. Maegen Ellis and Anna Lummus had the only hits for the Lady Raiders.

Leake Academy 10-1 Oak Hill

Allen started in the circle, but lasted only five batters because of the high temperatures at game time which started around 2:30. The Lady Raiders lost four players in all and managed just two hits against the reigning state champs who come to West Point for a rematch on Tuesday.

Pillow 5-2 Oak Hill

Ellis (1-1) gave up six hits in the game as the Lady Raiders dropped two in a row.
