Lady Raiders blowout North Delta, 52-22

GRENADA – Stan Hughey expressed before the start of the 2013-14 season that his team needed to find a third or fourth double-digit scorer for his youthful Lady Raiders.
The Oak Hill Girls’ Head Coach may have just found a trio that can provide him with the needed numbers to be successful in the month of January and the tough stretch of District 2-AA games.
Maegan Ellis, Sarah Dill and Sydney Holton combined for 44 points, and the Lady Raiders (12-7; 2-1 District 2-AA) dominated the North Delta Lady Wave, 52-22, Friday in the Kirk Academy 2014 Basketball Classic.
“We got good minutes from everybody tonight,” Hughey said. “It was an all-around team effort on a long court here at Kirk. I thought Dill and Sydney Holton were so good. This was a good win.”
