WINONA – The Hebron Christian Lady Eagles started the 2013-14 basketball season against Winona Christian and Indianola Academy Monday on the campus of Winona Christian School.
The Lady Eagle cagers come off a 2012-13 season that many considered a rebuilding year for a starting five, which consisted of three eighth-graders, a ninth-grader and a junior. In Hebron Head Coach William Cotton's final season court-side, Hebron finished second-place in the District 3-A Tournament after falling to Winona in the final, snapping a seven-tournament winning streak in District 3-A. The Lady Eagles lost to Sharkey-Issequena Academy, making an early exit in the MAIS North-Central Tournament during the opening round.
