Kent Gordon Hunt

Kent Gordon Hunt, age 52, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at his home in Starkville.
He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized at the age of 10. He was the owner of Hunt's Jewelry and an avid sportsman. Mr. Hunt coached SBA Little League Baseball for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Hunt; two sons: Gordon Hunt and Garrett Hunt; his parents: Jerry and Audie Hunt; one brother, Mark Hunt (Rene); and their son, Davis Hunt; all of Starkville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at Welch Funeral Home of Starkville, from 5 – 7 p.m.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at 10 a.m. from First Baptist Church, with Rev. Clifton Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Outreach Center or the Youth Program, 106 Lampkin St. Starkville, MS, 39759.
