Keith Myrick, 65, passed away Wednesday, Dec.4, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus. Keith was born Jan. 11, 1948, in Laurel, to the late Clara Matthews and Raymond Dennis Myrick. He had worked for the City of West Point as Land Fill Security for 11 years and was a member of West End Baptist. He had a love for deer hunting and his dog Dolly. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Vietnam and was the reciepient of the Bronze Star medal. Dennis Keith Myrick married Deborah Craven Myrick, August 21, 1976, in Vernon, Ala.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Craven officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include wife, Debbie Craven Myrick of West Point; two sons: Jamie Dennis of West Point, and Dennis Robbin
Myrick (Patricia) of Vernon, Ala.; four grandchildren: Cody Dennis, Zachary Blair, Dalan Wilson and Jada Myrick; two
sisters: Judy Myrick Holifield (Jerry) of Soso and Susan Myrick Walker (Greg) of Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Myrick Cook; brother, Jerry â€śT-Birdâ€ť Myrick; maternal grandparents: Roy and Flaura Bland Matthews; paternal grandparents: Raymond and Sophie Davenport Myrick.
Pallbearers are Homer Ivey, Robert Guest, Wayne Cohea, Brad Holifield and Brian Holifield.
Honorary pallbearers are his former comrades in the United States Army.

Visitation is Friday, from noon - 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
