A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection to a burglary at D & B Pawn & Gun Shop last week.

Investigators with the West Point Police Department on Wednesday arrested the male suspect who was seen on surveillance camera video breaking into the store.

The identity of the suspect has not been released because he is a minor, but he was identified as the suspect who entered the store and stole four pistols.

“Working along the community is a goal achieved and helps make protecting and serving so much easier,” Detective Ramirez Ivy said. “We’re better together, and this is what policing is about when we can work effectively with our community.”

On Nov. 9, officers with the West Point Police Department responded to an alarm call at D & B Pawn Shop in the 500 block of West Brame Avenue.

Once on scene, patrol officers found the business had been burglarized.

Three males were seen on security footage breaking into the building while only one suspect entered. The suspect was able to gain entry, destroy a glass gun case, and steal four Hi-Point Pistols.

More arrests are expected in connection with the burglary.
