Jr. Civitans ready for teacher appreciation

September 20, 2013

Civitan sponsors Jay Jackson and Peggy Goode were directing new Jr. Civitan members through the sign up process while Junior Civitans in their second or third years were busy working on boxes to hold snacks for teacher appreciation.

“The kids filled the boxes with apples, bananas and pastries and have the boxes in the teachers lounge.” said Goode. “We like to do projects for our teachers; they deserve all the thanks they can get. The Junior Civitans are always ready to participate in projects to do things for others.”
