James M. Fields

James M. Fields, 76, passed away April 18, 2014, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Mr. James was born May 27, 1937, in Maben, the son of the late O.D. and Cora Mae Langford Fields. He worked in maintenance at General Tire in Columbus for 32 years. He was a Baptist. He married Margret Schmidt Fields in Sept. 1984 in Columbus.
Graveside services are Friday, April 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. from Greenwood Cemetery in West Point with Pastor Bobby Richardson officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Margret S. Fields of Philadelphia; two sons, James Rex Fields of Safford, Az., and John Wesley Fields of Columbus; ten grandchildren: Summer Williams, Chase Fields, Lakyn Fields, Layton Fields, Dalton Fields, John Gavin Fields, Sarah Landwer, Billy Landwer, Sarina Duwe, and Jamison Duwe; five great - grandchildren: Tony Williams, Austin Williams, Giovonnie Romani, Lofton Duwe, and Preston Duwe.
Pallbearers are Dalton Fields, Layton Fields, John Fields, Rex Fields, Chase Fields, Tony Williams.
