James A. Bramlett

James A. Bramlett, age 65, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at the West Point
Community Living Center. James A. Bramlett was born Feb. 9, 1945, in Green County, Prattville, Ala. to the late Mazie Lee Davis Bramlett and Virgil Preston Bramlett. Mr. Bramlett worked as an industrial electrician and in maintenance for 30 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was a deacon. Mr. Bramlett was a decorated Veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1962-1969 during the Vietnam War. He later served in the Naval Reserve for 13 years and was a member of the V.F.W. for 45 years. James A. Bramlett married Ann Blansett

Brothers, Virgil Preston Bramlett, Jr. and Paul Bramlett, preceded him in death.
Funeral services are Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at 2 p. m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery near Pheba. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Blansett Bramlett of West Point; two daughters: Cindy Chism and Malinda Coleman both of Columbus; three sons: David Bramlett of Hattiesburg, Johnny Nix of Jackson, Martin Coleman (Sarah) of Starkville; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Pitts of Tupelo, two brothers, Stanley Bramlett (Elizabeth), and Prentiss Bramlett (Marion) all of West Point.
Pallbearers are Billy Gipson, Bobby Lang, Ed McIntire, Don Permenter, Jerry Lantrip, Carl Wofford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons and Members of Trinity Baptist Church. .

Visitation will be Friday, 5 - 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
