Hershel Dean Millsaps

Hershel Dean Millsaps, age 71, of Batesville, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Montgomery Millsaps of Batesville; one daughter, Michelle White, (Doug) of West Point; three sons: Dean Taggart (Cheryl) of Birmingham, Ala., Chase Montgomery (Colleen) of Batesville, and Todd Montgomery of Water Valley; three sisters: Ruth willis of Starkville, Inez Hudnall of Meridian, Barbara Cashman (Pat) of Vicksburg; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Millsaps was preceded in death by his parent the late Robert Lee Millsaps and Mable Young Millsaps; and one sister, Louise Pearson.
A memorial service was held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Dickins Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Family received friends proceeding the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Dickins Funeral Home.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the donor's choice.
Dickins Funeral Home of Batesville was in charge of arrangements.
