Herbert Friesen

Herbert Friesen passed away on Friday June 14, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo at the age of 84.
He was born September 2, 1928 in Kansas to the late Helen Fleming and Bernard K. Friesen. He was a member of the West Point Mennonite Church. He farmed for most of his life and after retiring he started a lawn service business that he and his wife, Nora ran for many years. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the West Point Mennonite Church. Minister Mark Koehn Minister Errol Wedel, and Minister Brad Wedel will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Point Mennonite Church. Mr. Friesen’s Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.,
He is survived by his wife Nora Friesen of Aberdeen, three daughters, Marilda O’Bryant (Mark) of West Point, Marilyn Nichols (Clyde), Hiawatha, Ks. And Ronda Wedel (Ryan), Hesperia, Ca., one son, Randy Friesen (Hope), Brooksville, three sisters, Bernettie Loewen (Abe), Geiger, Al, Clara Koehn, Livingston, Ca, and Mabel Cryan, Reno, Nev. and eight grandchildren, Tyson Nichols, Ryan Nichols, Patric Nichols, Dallas O’Bryant, Dakota O’Bryant, Denis Friesen, Stacy Nichols and Alayna Friesen.
