PHEBA — Hebron Christian entered its Thanksgiving break after winning two games against District 3-A opponent Calhoun Academy and non-district opponent Winona Christian.
The Eagles did not lose their winning ways over the week long break as Landon Hill scored a game-high 20 points, Channing Tapley collected a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and Hebron (3-1; 1-0 District 3-A) outpaced Grace Christian, 76-23, in a MAIS non-district contest Tuesday.
"Grace had some good, young players on the team, but we were able to neutralize them," senior point guard Hayden Carty said. "We only had one practice over the break, and this game is helping us get back into shape."
Hebron's Clay Falkner tallied 12 points, and Collin Moore scored 10 points to reach double figures.
Luca Bortragger led Grace with 14 points in the losing effort. Daniel Halfacre was Grace's second leading scorer with four points.
