The Hebron Christian Eagles and Lady Eagles have both had a week to rest since their bouts with Carroll Academy last Thursday night.
Tonight, the two Hebron teams will go at it for a second night in a row, this time taking on division rival Winona in back-to-back games this evening.
Last week, the Lady Eagles got off to a great start on the young season, taking down the Lady Volunteers of Starkville, followed by a big win over the Lady Rebels.
As for the Eagles, they were able to split their first two games of the year, defeating Starkville and falling to Carroll 70-50, despite a 28 point effort out of Carlton Clay.
Tonight, the Hebron junior high teams will tip off the action at about 4 p.m.
Those two games will be immediately followed by the varsity girls game at around 6 p.m., and the boys teams will play shortly after that.
This will be the first time Hebron has faced a district rival in the early season.
After tonight, Hebron will not return to the court until November 29 when they travel to take on Starkville Academy for the second time.
