Hebron girls head to Macon to take on district rival Central

The Hebron Christian Lady Eagles were among many Mississippi basketball teams that were not able to improve on their district records earlier this week.
With a heavy winter storm’s snow and ice still on the roads on Monday and Tuesday, the Lady Eagles missed bouts with Winona and Calhoun.
On Thursday night, however, the girls should have any trouble getting down to Macon to take on another district rival in Central Academy.
The Hebron girls have already played and defeated the Lady Vikings once this season, back on December 2.
Tonight, they will give it another go, trying to improve on an already perfect district record.
The Lady Eagles have been getting production from a variety of players over the course of the 2010-2011 season.
Tori Nichols has been the team’s top scorer, but Cathryn Moore, Hillary Arnold and Magen Tapley have all shot well for the Lady Eagles.
Tonight’s games will start at 4 p.m. and the varsity action will start around 6 p.m. with the girls game.
