PHEBA — Rebekah Falkner led the Lady Eagles with 17 points and Hebron Christian (2-0) picked up a win over the Calhoun Lady Cougars, 65-35, in a MAIS basketball game Tuesday on the campus of Hebron Christian School.
Holly Hudson tallied 14 points, Alaina Hill scored 12 points and Subrina Oswalt knocked down 10 points in Hebron’s fifth consecutive win since the second preseason game against Washington School at the Winona Christian Preseason Tournament.
Regan Hubbard led Calhoun with 14 points.
“It was a good win,” Hebron Head Coach Bruce Franks said. “They set a few goals and I told them if they wanted to win the district, they couldn’t take any nights off and come to practice ready to work. They’ll give themselves a chance.”
