Hebron Christian welcomes winless, scoreless Strider for Homecoming

October 4, 2013

PHEBA – Streaks abound in tonight’s MAIS eight-man contest as Hebron Christian holds a three-game home losing streak hosting a visiting Strider Academy that is nursing two negative streaks, as well.
A 16-game losing period that began on Aug. 17, 2012, against Hebron in Pheba is coupled with a five game scoreless streak in the 2013 season as the Rams are unable catch a break on the gridiron.
Hebron Christian (2-3) hopes to snap its losing ways at home while keeping visiting Strider Academy’s two negatives alive in the Eagles’ opening game of District 7-A at 7:30 p.m. on the campus of Hebron Christian School in Pheba.
“I want to win at home,” Hebron Eagle senior Troy Arnold said. “It’s Homecoming and I am not real worried about them scoring or not, but the ‘W’ is the most important aspect for us on Friday.”
