Gresta H. Stafford

Gresta H. Stafford, 81, passed away, January 21, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Mrs. Gresta was born August 4, 1929, in Marietta, Mississippi to the late Earline Hester and Vinny Hopper.
Mrs. Gresta was a Registered Nurse, retiring after 30 years with the Mississippi State Board of Health where she served as a District Supervisor. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Mrs. Gresta married William Edwin Stafford May
8, 1952, and he predeceased her on December 27, 1997.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend
Payton Myers officiating. Burial will follow in McPherson Cemetery near West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West
Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include daughter, Shirley Stafford Bock (Eddie) of Cedar Bluff; sister, Ann Phillips of Biggersville and Several
Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Stafford was also predeceased by her brother, Vance Hopper.
Pallbearers will be Russ Allen, Billy Allen, Phillip Hopper, Ernest Cothran, Winfred Wills, Bud Cartee, and Wilbur Rish.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bera Blake Sunday School Class at Siloam Baptist Church and her special friend, Jane Byrd.
Memorials may be made to McPherson Cemetery Fund, c/o Mrs. Rose Dean, 837 Yellow Blossom Road, Cedar Bluff, MS 39741.
Visitation will be Monday 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
