Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hood Gregory of Okolona, Miss., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Susannah Stubbs, to Woodson Cary Whitehead, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cary Whitehead, III, of Memphis, Tenn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Van Tankersley Stubbs Sr. of Baldwyn, Miss. and the late Brigadier General Van Tankersley Stubbs Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison Gregory Sr.
She is a graduate of Oak Hill Academy and a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.
She is employed as a Senior Account Executive by Lou Hammond and Associates in New York, NY.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. George Alcorn Coors of Memphis, Tenn., and the late Mr. Thomas Russell Price and the late Mrs. Jane Dalrymple Whitehead.
He is a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn., and a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Accounting; he also earned his CPA. He is a graduate of University of Virginia School of Darden where he received a Master of Business Administration.
He is an Associate with Credit Suisse in New York, N.Y.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at King Family Vineyards in Charlottesville, Va. A reception will follow on the grounds.
