Green Wave selected for post-season All-Star games

October 19, 2011

The season's not quite complete, but already several West Point Green Wave football players have been honored.

Offensive lineman Romia Wilson and linebacker Brandon Edwards were selected to represent Mississippi in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic set to play Dec. 10 in Montgomery, Alabama.

High school coaches also selected quarterback Dequinten Spraggins, offensive lineman Carson Miller and linebacker Charles Heard to represent the North in the Bernard Blackwell Game scheduled for Dec. 17 in Biloxi.

The Green Wave are 5-3 this season and are riding a four game winning streak in district play. They travel to Olive Branch this Friday when they battle Center Hill.
