The West Point Green Wave (3-4; 1-2 District 1-5A) was looking to pick up a win after two consecutive district losses.
Behind Aeris Williams' career effort of 252 yards on 26 carries and four touchdowns, West Point was able to outscore the Center Hill Mustangs in a shoot-out, 69-41.
Williams opened the scoring in both halves with runs of 35 yards in the first quarter and 27 yards in the third-quarter. The Mississippi State verbal-commit would score his other two touchdowns with rushes of 27 yards in the second-period and his final score of 14 yards in the fourth-quarter.
The Wave led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter following a 28-yard run by junior Quincy Starks and a junior Dason Thomas 20-yard touchdown pass to Miller Keys.
By halftime, West Point led Center Hill 42-21 with touchdowns from Thomas on a five-yard rush and a Kaelon Collins touchdown reception thrown by junior Josh Ewing.
