Faith Baptist pays off note on heels of 25th

April 4, 2013

The Congregation at Faith Baptist Church will celebrate the ministry’s 25th anniversary on May 5. On Thursday morning, members of the church, some of them founding trustees, gathered at Bank First in West Point to give the bank a check for the final note on the building. Pictured are Pastor Ben Yarber, Allen Wood, Deacon, Sandra Murray (Murray was the loan officer who handled the original construction loan in 1988), Lamar Wilburn, Deacon, Bill Ladd, Deacon and Monty Yates, President of Bank First. Wilburn, Ladd and Wood are all trustees and were founding charter members of the church. Not pictured is Randy Williams, a trustee and founding member. Photo by Bryan Davis
