Elizabeth Gredell Kline Welch, 89, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. She was born November 23, 1923 in Quincy, Ill., to Henry Adam Gredell and Mary Rosalia Otte Gredell. She had lived in Aberdeen, Tupelo and West Point for the past five years. She was a member of St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church in Aberdeen and St James Catholic Church in Tupelo. She was an Early Childhood Specialist and past Director of Lee County Child Development Center. She was also past President of MACUS.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church located at 1911 N. Gloster in Tupelo, with Father Tim Murphy, Father Henry Shelton, Father Robert Dore, and Father Lincoln Dall officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include: two daughters: Mary Dimino and husband Phillip of West Point. Alicia Foil and husband Branton of Tylertown. Five sons: John Kline of Waco TX. Mike Kline and wife Annette of Pine Bluff, AR. Dick Kline and wife Betsy of Montevallo, AL. Tommy Kline and wife Natalie of Fulton. Paul Kline and wife Susan of Tylertown.
Twenty Grandchildren: Brad Kline, Fran Kline Robbins, Valerie Kline, Melanie Kline Neill, Michael Kline, Kris Kline, Adam Kline, Catie Kline Crabtree, Tom Kline, Matt Kline, Leah Kline Richardson, Laura Kline McWhirter, Nick Dimino, John Paul Dimino, Phillip Dimino, Jennifer Foil McNeil, Catherine Foil Yates, Leigh Anne Foil, Haley Kline, and Kara Kline. Twenty-six Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Jack Kline and Charles Welch, a sister, Mary Martha Gredell and one grandson, Kevin Kline.
Pallbearers are her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are the doctors, staff and nurses of North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point, and the Home Health nurses and caregivers who helped make her as comfortable as possible.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of West Point, St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church in Aberdeen, and to St. James Catholic Church at 1911 North Gloster, Tupelo, MS. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time at St. James Catholic in Tupelo.
