Paige Dendy Lamkin, with 73 percent of the vote, is the new Clay County Tax Assessor. All three supervisors up for re-election (District 3 RB Davis, D4 Sheldon Deanes and D5 Floyd McKee) are winning easily.

The personhood amendment has been defeated by voters of Miss, but Voter ID looks like it's on its way to passing.

Tate Reeves has won the race to be the next LT. Governor.
Updated: Jim Hood has won re-election to his post as attorney general, defeating Republican Steve Simpson.
