West Point High School

The West Point Green Wave (1-1) used a 21-point first quarter to defeat its rival Starkville 55-33 in a MHSAA non-district contest Friday night at Hamblin Stadium in West Point.

Oak Hill Academy

The Oak Hill Raiders (1-2; 0-1) welcomed a District 2-AA favorite to West Point Friday night in Tri-County The Rebels and Raiders fought in a bruising affair that saw hard knocks and defenses that swarmed to the football constantly. Tri-County proved to have just a little more in the tank as a fourth-quarter touchdown helped the Rebels secure their first conference win of the 2013 slate, 33-20.

Hebron Christian School

In Pheba, one offensive unit was rolling while the other sputtered.
