Dorothy Ereline Stone

Dorothy Ereline Stone, age 78, passed away, Oct.. 26, 2010, at the Aurora Australis Nursing Home, in Columbus. Dorothy Ereline Stone was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Noxubee County to the late Jessie Mae Wood Miller and George Miller.
Dorothy Ereline Stone was a machine operator for Seminole Manufacturing in Columbus and later in furniture companies for 30 years. She was a member of Montpelier Baptist Church.
Funeral services are Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Curtis Guess officiating and assisted by Brother Jerry King. Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Thomas Leroy Stone of Cedar Bluff; one daughter, Joann Newman of Columbus; one son, Charles Thornton of Cedar Bluff; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Georgia Mae Nowell (Lester) of Philadelphia; and a number of nieces and nephews. Sister, Clara Pauline Simmons, also preceded her in death.
Pallbearers are Bo Helton, Charles Thornton, C. W. Walters, and Craig Barham.
Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Aurora Australis.

Visitation will be Friday, 5 – 8 at Calvert Funeral Home.
