Donny Weed age 75, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Pioneer Hospital in Aberdeen.
Donald Avery Weed was born December 22, 1937. in Chickasaw County, to the late Lucy Jeanette Boyce and Andrew Melvin Weed. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services are Friday, January 18, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Brock officiating.   Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Houston. 
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include five sisters, Bobbie Ann Weed, Kay W. Howard, Nancy Cheryl Weed, Linda Wilson, Penny McKellar all of Prairie. five brothers, Bill Weed of Scurry, Texas, John Weed of Dallas, Texas,  Tony Weed,  Melvin Ray Weed, Carl Weed all of Prairie.
Pallbearers are Timothy Weed, Dustin Weed, Scott Howard, Danny White, Alvis Warren, and Robert Parker
Visitation is today, Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
