Robert and Mary Lou Darsey of West Point, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Janna Marie Darsey, to Timothy Brant Murray, son of Lemuel and Jean Murray of McCall Creek.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maxine Hinshaw of West Point and the late Allen Hinshaw, Otis Darsey of Natchez, and the late Benjamin Darsey.
She is a 1999 graduate of West Point High School, graduated from Vaughn's Beauty College in 2003, and went on to Hinds Community College and Mississippi State University to receive a Veterinary Technician Degree in 2008.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Alfred and Cora Mae Murray, and the late Frank and L.E. Coghlan.
He is a 1995 graduate of the West Lincoln Attendance Center.
He is employed with Porter's Body Shop.
Wedding vows will be exchanged Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Deer Brook Farms in Brooksville. A reception will follow at the same location. Family and friends are invited to attend this joyous occasion.
