District 5 Clay County residents can expect to see construction workers conducting a resurfacing project in the near future.
According to a notice provided by the Clay County Board of Supervisors, the deadline for bidding on the revamping is anticipated to cease 9 a.m. Dec. 19. Following the declaration of a lowest bidder, the work will commence.
District 5 Supervisor Floyd McKee said he wanted to resurface both Pine Bluff Road and the northern portion of Colony Road, each of which have long since been in need of some level of reparation.
