Cleveland Nathanial Jackson, age 93, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at Benchmark Nursing Home in St Charles, Mo., with his family by his side.
Nathanial Jackson was born September 28, 1919, to Grover Cleveland and Mellie Josephine Jackson in Aberdeen. He was married to Eula Lee Arick and she preceded him in death. He had lived in the St. Charles area for 46 years, moving there from Mississippi. After 23 years of working for St. Joseph Health Center, he worked as a landscaper.
Nathanial Jackson had out lived much of his family. He is survived by brother, Grover Jackson of Aberdeen, sister, Josephine Hudson (Bobby) of Greenwood Springs, nieces and nephews, Ann Earnest, Bessie Roberson, Laura McCullar, Joe Arick, Barbara Armstrong, Lisa Little, Mike Arick, with many grand children, great-grand children, and great-great-grandchildren. He has many more extended family members.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at Pheba Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made in Cleveland’s honor to the charity of your own choosing.
