The West Point Board of Selectmen awarded a $94,540 bid to Perma Corporation, of Columbus, for the upcoming Waverley Road water main extension during its meeting Tuesday.
West Point Water and Light Director Boodro Marsac said the project would entail extending the water main 1,445 linear feet on Waverly Road.
“It will be from Curtis Orman Road up to about the curve on Waverly Road,” Marsac said.
Mayor Robbie Robinson said the extension would provide sewer service for three homes in the area.
“We annexed that area years ago and had never provided service to those three houses, but will now,” Robinson said.
