CCSD makes drug arrests

The Clay County Sheriff’s Department made four arrests in connection to drug charges last week, with a warrant issued for one more.
Corey Quinn, of Woodland, was arrested May 25 at a traffic stop for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. According to a CCSD statement released to media, deputies seized about 65 grams of marijuana, along with scales and paraphernalia, were seized from Quinn’s vehicle. He is being held at the Clay County Detention Center on a detainer for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
CCSD, along with the West Point Police Department, Mississippi Department of Corrections and Mississippi Alcohol and Beverage Control executed two drug related search warrants May 29 in the Mantee community of Clay County.
