Catherine Myers Wactor, age 86, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at her residence in Meadville, Miss.
Mrs. Wactor was born Mar. 24, 1924, in Webster County to Joseph Myers and Rosie Grissom Myers. She was a homemaker and a member of Elmo Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Lenox (Debra) Wactor of Meadville, Miss.; one granddaughter, Ashley (Lee) Yelverton of Meadville, Miss.; two great-grandchildren: Austin Cupit and Adriana Yelverton; four sisters: Louise Scott of Huntsville, Ala., Emmie Malone of West Point, Miss., Norma Clardy of West Point, Miss., and Minrose Matthews of West Point, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Earl Wactor; her parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services are today, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. from Franklin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery.
Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.
