West Point businesses are buzzing with activity in preparation for the 35th Prairie Arts Festival. Some shops have been part of the festival since its inception, but others have only been around for a year or so.

The Salon and Boutique, formerly The Salon on Main, has a great location to be part of the festival. In its large building across from the Bryan Public Library, the business plans to have a full crew working at both the hair salon and fashion shop. Hair stylist Lauren Bohon said she is excited about the upcoming weekend.
