Brenda Andrews Thrash, 50, passed away, June 2, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Brenda was born February 2, 1963, in West Point, to Melba Nell Wilson Andrews and Melvin Andrews. She was a cafeteria worker in the public school system for 12 years and was a Baptist.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Sevier officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda M. Thrash of West Point; two brothers, Kenneth Andrews (Kay) and Melvin Dean Andrews both of West Point; Uncle: Donnie Wilson (Janice) and aunts Jackie Wilson and Linda Wilson all of West Point, and Carolyn Dewberry of Maben.
Pallbearers are Justin Mooreman, Kenya Duckworth, Michael Dalton Dewberry, Eddie Dewberry, Trey Allen, and Chris Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Craig Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Ed Holcombe, Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Schaffer, and all of her school cafeteria co-workers.
Memorials may be made to West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter, 1212 Old Tibbee Road, West Point, MS 39773.
Visitation is today, Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 5 - 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
