BREAKING: West Point’s district double-header against Oxford postponed

January 15, 2013

Due to the ice storm warning in northern Mississippi, the double-header between West Point and Oxford has been postponed until an undecided date.
The Lady Wave’s game was set to tip off at around six o’clock in Oxford following the boys’ junior varsity ball game. Stay tuned to the Daily Times Leader as a make-up date should be released in the coming hours or days.
West Point still has district action this Friday as the Lady Wave and Green Wave both host New Hope. The Lady Trojans and Trojans are both currently undefeated in district 2 5-A play.
