Bonnie Williams Farley

Bonnie Williams Farley, age 61, passed away, Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Bonnie Faye Williams Farley was born Sept. 2, 1949, in Starkville, to the late Sarah Elizabeth Arick and Tom Lee Williams. Mrs. Farley was a retired school teacher, having taught Special Education at Montpelier, Alcorn Central, Starkville, and at Wheeler schools for 31 years of total service. Mrs. Farley was a member of Marvin Hill United Methodist Church. She loved her grandsons; “her pride and joy” in life. Bonnie Williams Farley married William W. "Jimmy" Farley, Jr. in Vernon, Ala.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 3 p.m. from the Marvin Hill United Methodist Church in the Cumberland Community near Maben, with the Rev. Riley Richter officiating, assisted by Rev. John Foles. Burial followed in Marvin Hill Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include, husband, William W. "Jimmy" Farley of Maben; two daughters: Chelle Stephenson (Brad) of Rienzi, Janeen Richards (Jeff) of Lexington, S.C.; two grandchildren: Peyton and Ty; one sister, Pauline "Polly" Williams; and one brother, Neal Williams (Margie) all of Cedar Bluff. Sisters, Bessie Davis, Lou Simpson, and Carolyn Jackson also preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Don Hodnett, Derrick Simpson, Jeff Williams, Christopher Gordon, Farley Fondren, and Mark Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were Mark Hodnett, Tommy Williams, Jackie Cooper, J. C. Sisk, Dr. Andrew Kellum, The Nursing Staff on the 3rd Floor NMMC-Tupelo, The Staff at the Cancer Center-Tupelo.
