Automotive supplier Magna International (MGA) posted earnings of 45 cents per share in the third quarter, up from a loss of a dollar 93 in Q3 of 2008. Vehicle production was down 20% year over year, and total sales fell 16%.

Downgrades: ESLR, RST, RRGB

This morning, Citigroup downgraded shares of Evergreen Solar (ESLR) from Hold to Sell following yesterday's third quarter results. The company reported better than expected results on higher revenue and attempted to alleviate fears of a dwindling cash position, but analysts at Citigroup were not convinced.
