Aria Lou Jenkins Ray, age 79, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Hospice in His Hands of Madden, Miss.
Aria Lou Jenkins Ray was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Choctaw County, Miss. She was a member of Salem Independent Methodist Church near Ackerman, Miss.
Funeral services are today, Friday, May 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Salem Independent Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time.
She is survived by two sons: Keith Ray (Debbie) of Lake Charles, La., and Steve Ray (Pam) of Colbert, Ga.; one daughter, Judy Fleming (Terry) of Philidelphia, Miss.; six grandchildren: Gary Todd Ray (Cynthia), Christine Ray, Kimberly Ray Holland (Kevin), Mark Fleming, Ashley Fleming Barrett (Jeremy) and Holly Ray.; one brother, Boyd Jenkins of Greenwood, Miss.; two sisters: Annie Pearl Jenkins Simpson (Junior) of Eupora, Miss., and Gladys Jenkins Tackett of Greenwood, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray; her parents: A.F. (Jack) and Arlene Bright Jenkins; and two brothers: Lloyd Jenkins and Bernice Jenkins.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.
