Annual Boo Parade set for next Thursday

October 23, 2013

Residents can expect to see downtown West Point crawling with spooks and specters of all sorts next Thursday, as the annual Boo Parade gets under way. Some 800 children from Head Start, Pre-K and Kindergarten programs from schools around the county will congregate in their finest Halloween wear to march the parade route beginning at 9 a.m. along Commerce, Main and East streets in one of the city’s most celebrated traditions.
