Anna Elizabeth 'Anna Beth' Davis

Anna Elizabeth “Anna Beth” Davis passed away at her home in Yazoo County, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Anna Beth was born April 11, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
She battled her illness in four hospitals over two states for the first six months of her life. October 8, 2013, she was released from the St. Louis Children’s Hospital to return home to Yazoo County.
Anna Beth was known by thousands for her amazing fight, resilience and her beautiful long eyelashes. The prayers she received from these thousands of people sustained her and her family through the most trying of times.
She is survived by her parents, Bryan Davis and Callie Davis of Vaughan, her grandparents Marlon and Debbie Davis of Benton, and Jim and Liz Golden of Vaughan. She is also survived by her great- grandparents, Melvin and Elinor Upchurch of Bentonia, Miss., Ruth Golden of Vaughan, and James Pilgrim of Pickens. She is survived by her uncles and aunts Chris Davis (Laura) of Clinton; Alex Davis of Yazoo City, James Golden (Lyndsey) of Oxford, Jesse Golden (Ellen) of Birmingham, Ala., Bre’ Davis of Benton, and Susan Golden of Vaughan.
Anna Beth had a host of cousins and great uncles and great aunts as well as friends that she met from all over the country.
Anna Beth was laid to rest Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Ellison United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dave Schultz presiding over the services. Pallbearers were, Chris Davis, Alex Davis, Jesse Golden, and James Golden.
Breeland Funeral Home of Canton was in charge of the arrangements.
Friends may send memorials, in lieu of flowers to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
