Alma Caroline Hall Stermer

Alma Caroline Hall Stermer, age 82, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at the Baptist Medical Center Downtown, in Jacksonville, Fla.
She was born Oct. 6, 1929, in Darlington, S. C. to the late Myrtle Mae Barber and Carl Lee Hall. A former resident of West Point having lived two years in Jacksonville, she was a homemaker and a member of West Point Church of Christ. Alma Caroline Hall Stermer married Karl Von Stermer March 31, 1957, in Pascagoula, he preceded her in death June 5, 2002.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Minister Tom Holley officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Memorial Garden Cemetery, West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters: Candace Stermer of Sydney, Australia, and Robin Parimore (Thomas) of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons: Steve Stermer of Colorado Springs, Colo., Daniel Stermer (Shelly) of Tampa, Fla., David Stermer (Mari) of Floyds Knobs, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her sisters: Ola Hall Carter of Clover Dale, Calif., Rea Hall Burch of Asheboro, N.C. Those preceding Alma Caroline Hall Stermer in death were Fitzhugh Hall, John Mark Hall, Malcolm Hall, Thelma Hall Dooly, Dorothy Hall, Eugene Hall, and Edsel Hall.
Pallbearers are Steve Stermer, David Stermer, Dan Stermer, Timon Stermer, Tony Parimore, and Ross Parimore.
Visitation is Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, from 1 - 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
